Strategies

• Developing advocacy initiatives for addressing vulnerability among various groups in the community
• Improving and maintaining URCS corporate image through publishing its services in various media and providing feedback from the public to service providers for action -Improving networking systems and build partnerships to make use of the existing expertise within and outside the Red Cross movement
• Develop an advocacy strategy -Build the Society’s capacity to do advocacy work at all levels
• Build the community’s capacity to advocate for and address the needs of the most vulnerable -Promote advocacy activities throughout the Society.
• Strengthen the public relations function at all levels in the society.
• Influence the Government to facilitate URCS auxiliary role of information on Red Cross ideals.
• Develop promotional materials and disseminate to target agencies and the public
• Strengthen publicity for URCS activities at all levels -Develop and implement result oriented co-operation strategies in order to improve partnership and networking at all level.
• Build the capacity of the Society at all levels through knowledge transfers.
• Strengthen linkages and collaboration with Government structures in service delivery.
• Strengthen dissemination of information on Red Cross activities at all levels.
• Enhance capacity at all levels to disseminate information on International Humanitarian Law, emblem, principles and ideals of Red Cross at all levels
