Uganda Red Cross Society on 8th May celebrated the World Red Cross Red Crescent Day in memory of the founder, the late Henry Dunant.
This year, the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement focused on the youths under the theme, Mobilising the power of young people to serve humanity.

The main celebrations were held at Main Street Primary School in Jinja. Characterized by various exhibitions from Uganda Red Cross and its partners, creative and cultural dances, the celebrations were graced by many dignitaries.
